Hyderabad emerges second most preferred city by BFSI GCCs

With global banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) giants increasingly zeroing in on India, the number of BFSI global capability centres (GCCs) is poised to double from around 120 to over 250 by 2030, with cities like Bengaluru and Hyderabad leading the charge.

While Bengaluru already houses nearly 35% or 42 of the BFSI GCCs in India and 26% of the active jobseekers with in-demand skills, Hyderabad, with 16 GCCs, stands third after Delhi NCR (22) but is second when it comes to around 19% of the active jobseekers with in-demand skills preferring the city, says Careernet’s latest report.

The report titled ‘The landscape of active talent pool with skills in demand for BFSI GCCs in India’ said Hyderabad is emerging as the preferred hub not just for GCCs setting up shop but also for those charting out expansion.
